Frequently Asked Questions

Do you make custom pieces?

I no longer accept requests to make custom garments. This is because I just don’t have the manpower to design and produce my own collections and also take on individually patterned and designed pieces. I will however customize pieces, upon request (i.e. hem length, change the sleeve design, add embellishment, change color etc to designs that I have done in the past at an added cost) but I do not do top to bottom custom designs anymore.

How do I care for my pieces?

Ternos require extra care to maintain their appearance and structure. I highly recommend that you store your item folded, keeping the sleeves fat. Hanging your terno long term will result in a distorted shape over time. Wash your item by filling a tub with a few inches of cold water and adding about 3 tbsp of detergent. Pretreat any stains, and soak your piece for 10 minutes and then gently agitate the garment in the water with your hands. Drain the tub and rinse the garment with fresh water while remaining flat. Gently ring the garment body (excluding the sleeves) and place your garment in between towels, keeping the sleeves flat. Gently press or step on the towels to squeeze out any excess liquid. Hang your garment, by folding at the waist, making sure the sleevs remain flat as possible do not hang with sleeves clipped, as this will cause distortion to the sleeves. Once dry, iron the sleeves & body using medium high heat and steam if needed.

Where do you make your pieces? Are you located in the Philippines?

Every piece is handmade by designer and founder, Eleonore, at her home in San Diego, CA using high end finishing techniques.

Do you have a physical store front? How do I try on these beautiful pieces?
